By popular request, and the fact that a short story seemed a good way to start, I present for your listening pleasure Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart."
I recall that one of the highlights of my highschool life was listening to an audio recording of this in Mr. Belt's class. I don't remember what class it was for (Rhetoric, perhaps? Greek?), but Mr. Belt had a fondness for Poe, and so we listened to Poe. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. It seemed an excellent way to spend a class period.
Like all my posts (once I finish making the rest), this one is available as an mp3 (so you can listen to me while you jog or something, if you have any desire to). Just let me know of your interest, and I'll email it to you. Though you could probably find something a bit more inspirational for jogging.
I suppose it might get the heart going... (BA-DUM-TISS)
Signing off, this is Drackey von Rache, the voice in your head.
